Kiumars “Q” is an advertising and creative veteran with extensive brand building and rebranding experience. His collaborative style and inquisitive approach has served him well, beginning as an art director at Fallon Worldwide. From this foundation in hardworking, results-driven advertising, Q has led teams and created campaigns for products from coffee to luxury yachts, earning press and awards for their creativity and effectiveness.
Born in Jonannesburg, South Africa, and raised in Iran and Sweden, Q moved to the U.S. soon after graduating from high school in pursuit of his childhood passion for automotive design. While applying to the ArtCenter College of Design and awaiting a response, he took graphic design and advertising courses at the University of Minnesota for fun and to his surprise he developed an affinity for the power of story telling and the influence of communication arts on popular culture and society. What started as a happy accident soon resulted in a graphic design/advertising degree and the beginning of a long creative career!
Q lives in hideous Encinitas with his wife and family. If he is not working you’ll find him on a surfboard, a snowboard, a bike, or on a tiny plane trying to get his private pilot license.
