Kiumars “Q” Gourki is a creative director and branding contsultant who helps organizations get clear about what they stand for—and then turn that clarity into work that actually lasts.
Over the past twenty-plus years, Q has worked across health, technology, lifestyle, and purpose-driven organizations, leading teams and shaping brands through growth, change, and the occasional reset. Along the way, he’s learned that the best creative work usually comes from slowing things down, asking better questions, and making fewer, more thoughtful decisions.
As the Principal of Studio Gourki, Q works closely with founders, executives, and in-house teams to build and evolve brands from the ground up. He’s also partnered with agencies across the U.S. on campaigns and new business, and has spent time at places like Vitro, RPA, ColleMcVoy, and Fallon—working on everything from global brands to non-profits.
Q’s approach is grounded in clarity, taste, and restraint. He’s often brought in to simplify narratives, align teams, and help creative work feel more cohesive and considered. Some of the work has earned recognition, but what matters most to him is whether it still feels right long after it’s launched.
These days, Q works selectively with teams that value trust, clear thinking, and creative leadership that simplifies rather than complicates.
When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him on a surfboard or tinkering with things on wheels.
︎︎︎ Fun facts: He has snuck into a Stones concert successfully. Speaks three languages and holds three nationalities.
